A young woman is missing, but has she run away - or been captured?
A dying cop asks DCI Christine Caplan to investigate a cold case that's still preying on her mind. The naked body of a man found in a remote wood, dismissed as a down and out by her superiors. Caplan connects the case to other victims left to die in Scotland's Dark Skies forests, injured and unable to escape.
