"This book is a great choice for those following a paleo or gluten-free diet and still wanting to enjoy Italian food. It is also perfectly geared for the novice cook. "At the beginning, I was really doubtful on how authentic Italian cooking could also be Paleo compatible as most Italian dishes involve pasta, pizza and pastry! Barbieri sure did proved me wrong from her cookbook. She cleverly substitute some ingredients such as using coconut oil and olive oil instead of vegetable oil; she also used almond and coconut flour instead of traditional wheat flour, to make Paleo cooking a breeze." --uTry.It blog
"You will be able to achieve a maximum level of health--while losing weight--without tedious calorie counting, purchasing expensive-but-bland prepared diet foods or skimping on the satisfying meals you crave. Simply by avoiding grains, legumes and pasteurized dairy you'll be able to trim down while filling up. Look and feel great while indulging your passion for Italian food!" --BooksAboutFood.com blog
"This is a great cookbook. I am happy to highly recommend it, not only to those who have to eat gluten-free or are living a paleo lifestyle, but to anyone who truly loves Italian cuisine.
