Moritz Lampe hat Kunstgeschichte, Medienwissenschaft und Soziologie in Leipzig und Rom studiert. Er war Stipendiat an Institutionen wie dem Kunsthistorischen Institut in Florenz – Max-Planck-Institut (MPI), dem Warburg Institute in London sowie der Università degli Studi di Firenze, an der er 2015 mit einer Dissertation zur italienischen Kunsttheorie der Renaissance promoviert wurde. Anschließend arbeitete er als Archivar und Wissenschaftler in der Fotothek des Kunsthistorischen Instituts in Florenz und leitete als Postdoktorand ein DFG-gefördertes Forschungsprojekt an der Universität Leipzig. Derzeit ist er Fachreferent für Kunst, Gestaltung und Fotografie an der Universitätsbibliothek der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.



Moritz Lampe studied art history, media studies, and sociology in Leipzig and Rome. He held research fellowships at institutions including the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz – Max-Planck-Institute (MPI), the Warburg Institute in London, and the Università degli Studi di Firenze, where he received his PhD in 2015 with a dissertation on Italian Renaissance art theory. Following this, he worked as an archivist and researcher in the Photographic Collection of the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence and held a DFG-funded postdoctoral position at Leipzig University. He currently serves as liaison librarian for art, design, and photography at the University Library of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
