Nuka Olsen-Hakongak is an Inuk from Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, and a practicing lawyer. Outside of her professional life, Nuka is a proud auntie who loves spending time with family, fishing, sewing mitts, and enjoying the outdoors with her dogs. Princess Rubber Boot was inspired by the light her nephew and nieces have brought to her life, and she’s excited to showcase growing up in Cambridge Bay through her first published piece.
