How does money turn into political power today? As wealth concentrates at the very top, Rich Radicals shows how the wealthy are seeking to reshape societies. Using unique Finnish data, the books traces the top 0.1% and follows them into the worlds of family dynasties, corporate leaders and high‑flying entrepreneurs showing how wealth shapes moral conscience and drives radical politics.
The book traces the rise of a global force: affluent groups driving societal change. The wealthy emerge as bold, well‑connected elites looking to shake up the Nordic social contract. If they succeed, a vital path to equality may be lost. Changing one society at a time, the wealthy may become a transformative force on a global scale—a development that deserves attention across societies.
