She is an associate editor of TPR News and TPR Noticias and the host of the Book Public podcast, as well as a founding member of the advisory council of the San Antonio Book Festival. She is the coauthor of San Antonio 365: On This Day in History, the coeditor of Los Muertos: Day of the Dead Fiction, and her essays and stories have been published widely. She lives in San Antonio, Texas.
