Writer, camper, and paddler Michelle Waitzman was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, where she worked in TV production for almost 20 years. In 2005, she followed her wander and her lust to Wellington, New Zealand, in search of love and the great outdoors (she found both). She now works on the occasional blockbuster New Zealand film project and fine-tunes her lovemaking skills with her partner, Gerhard, on their many “tramping” trips Down Under. Michelle blogs about camping with her partner, andother outdoor misadventures, at loveinatent.blogspot.com. This is her first book. Illustrator Ann Miya lives and works in Santa Cruz, California, where she and her husband share a little compound with Rio the dog and four cats. When not drawing or dog walking, she gardens and practices the ukulele or the accordion. She and her husband recently bought a new tent.
