Dr. Cooper Troutman’s attempts to move on from the tragic death of his wife, Jen, and the scars of a childhood marred by family dysfunction are stymied when the body of Paul Blanton, the man convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the drunk-driving accident that took Jen’s life, is found on the outskirts of Falls Edge, Cooper’s hometown.
