A psychological thriller told partly through the eyes of a serial killer's cat. He knows what his owner is planning, but how can he warn the next victim?

My roommate is a serial killer. And I have been powerless to stop him… because I am a cat.

Dean has always taken care of me—food, shelter, affection.

But I’ve seen what he does when no one is watching.

Now he’s watching someone new.

Jane from next door is kind, trusting, and completely unaware of the danger she’s in.

I recognise that look in his eyes. I know what he’s planning.

I couldn’t save the others.

But this time… I have to try. Even if it means doing the impossible.

Can a cat stop a killer before it’s too late? Or will Jane become his next victim?

The Neighbour's Cat is the first book in J.S. Ellis's Theodore series, blending dark psychological suspense, a serial killer's disturbing obsession and an extraordinary feline perspective. Perfect for readers who enjoy character-driven crime thrillers with unusual narrators and genuine menace.
