Christianity introduces the notion of salvation history, reading temporal events as unfolding within a divine teleology centered on Christ. Islamic thought approaches history as both a manifestation of God’s will and a moral framework for human responsibility, with particular attention to prophecy, succession, and the interpretation of communal experience.
