Jacky Pearson is an international award-winning watercolor artist and tutor. She is passionate about the beautiful transparent effects of watercolors and exhibits through galleries in New Zealand and Australia. She holds regular watercolor lessons and workshops both in person and online.

Her style is direct realism, painting on location or in the studio and she tries to “paint a feeling” to capture light and shadow in nature. Although she paints in other mediums including oils and charcoal, it’s watercolor that particularly makes her happy.

Jacky has been the recipient of several international awards and her work has been published in international art books and magazine.
