Two women. One small town. Endless sparks on the path to each other.
A runaway dog, a sunlit hiking trail, and a meet-cute neither woman sees coming. Elise is steady, rooted, and quietly yearning; Caroline is newly arrived, freshly heartbroken, and all sharp competence with a soft center. Shared hikes turn into lingering brunches, gentle flirting, and a slow-burning ache that refuses to stay platonic. But when they discover they’re coworkers—with a forbidden edge neither planned—the tension only deepens.
Featuring small-town charm, dog mom bonding, opposites in transition, and a deliciously restrained workplace romance, Sam Callaway's The Path to You is a cozy, yearning sapphic love story about choosing connection, courage, and the risk of wanting more.
Sam Callaway is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where she earned a BA in Professional Writing, and the Golden Crown Literary Society’s Writing Academy.
