The Spirit of the Last Days explores the often-overlooked connection between eschatology and pneumatology. Central to the study is a fresh analysis of Joel 2:28–32 and its application in Acts 2, alongside an in-depth examination of 1 Cor 13:8–13, including a survey of the reception history of the Corinthian passage. This work also explores how readings of Joel 2 inform views on apostles and prophets, whether as foundational gifts or ongoing ministries. This research uncovers a significant link between eschatology and pneumatology, revealing how interpretations of the "last days" shape debates over charismata cessation or continuation.
