Magda Gargulakova has a degree in Art History and is a co-founder and also curator of the OFF/FORMAT gallery in Brno, Czech Republic, which exhibits and promotes contemporary progressive art, mostly by young artists. She worked for a time in marketing, but her love affair with books has been a long one. For OFF/FORMAT, she has edited and published several art publications. Since 2019, she has added to this experience as an editor of literature for very young readers at Albatros Media, using her two daughters for quality control. She resides in the Czech Republic.

Ondrej Navratil is a teacher. As a graduate in art history, history, and art, he is close to books, especially those that transport us to the distant and more recent past or introduce us to works of early or modern art. Sometimes he even illustrates a book. He doesn’t always sit at a desk, however. He likes to go into the countryside, where he draws energy from nature. This explains his interest in environmental topics, which are often featured in his writing. He resides in the Czech Republic.

Andrea Tachezy is an illustrator and passionate collector of stories and curiosities. She loves good coffee, old paper, and walks in the woods. Skilled in textiles and graphic art, she discovered her calling as an illustrator and now creates illustrations and unique products with care and passion. Her work reflects her love for detail and storytelling. She lives near Prague, Czech Republic.
