Friends Umingmak and Fox have a lot to discuss about the world! When they notice the night sky changing colours, from green to pink to purple, they aren’t sure what to make of it. Why does the night sky do that? Is it broken? What’s going on with the sky?!

This sweet and silly book told in easy-to-read dialogue introduces young readers to the science behind one of the Arctic’s most beloved phenomena: the northern lights.

He enjoys playing with colours and shapes and never misses an opportunity to swim in the ocean, though he still wishes he could swim as well as a fish.
