Valeria Meiller is an Assistant Professor at the Hispanic Languages and Literatures department and a core faculty member of the Native American and Indigenous Studies Initiative at Stony Brook University. She holds a PhD from Georgetown University and a BA from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She is currently working towards a book project titled Necroterritories. Argentine Slaughterhourses and the Politics of Death. Her articles have been published or are forthcoming at ISLE, Hispanic Review, Hispanica Moderna, and other venues.
