"Wine Hiking Oregon is a delightful book that could slip into your backpack or your car for your next on- or off-road wine adventure. This slim tome fuses great photos with modern, informative, infographic chapters. As far as I’ve found, it’s a first of its kind, and fits into Oregon’s adventurous outdoor lifestyles with perfection." – Rogue Valley Times

Spending his childhood in the Umpqua Valley of Southern Oregon, Jack Costa entered the wine trade at 17, learning winemaking from Stephen Reustle, a pioneer of American Gruner Veltliner. Jack attended Washington State University, enrolling in the Enology and Wine Business programs. Jack is a writer, wine judge, podcaster and communicator, being featured in publications from the Wine Folly to the American Wine Society Journal. He lives in Southern Oregon and can be found at wineheretics.com.
