30 Climate COPs Later
Regular price $24.95 Save $-24.95Since their inception, the United Nations Climate Change Conferences—or Conference of the Parties (COPs)—have shaped the global response to climate change. These high-stakes gatherings bring together world leaders, scientists, activists, and policymakers to negotiate the future of our planet. Yet, despite increasing media attention, the inner workings of these forums remain complex and often misunderstood.
As COP30 takes place in 2025, 30 Climate COP Later takes a critical look at the past three decades of climate negotiations. Have these conferences driven real progress? Through the voices of key Canadian figures—diplomats, scientists, NGO leaders, journalists, and policymakers—this book offers a rare, behind-the-scenes perspective on the triumphs, setbacks, and turning points that have defined the COPs.
With firsthand accounts and candid reflections, contributors share personal experiences, pivotal moments, and insights into Canada’s evolving role in international climate diplomacy. From historic agreements to missed opportunities, their stories provide a nuanced view of the challenges and achievements of global climate negotiations.
Written for a wide audience—including students, professionals, and anyone passionate about climate action—this book sheds light on the COP process and its impact. As the climate crisis intensifies, it asks a pressing question: Can these negotiations still deliver the solutions we so urgently need?
30 Day Champions Journal
Regular price $14.99 Save $-14.99The 30 Day Champions Journal helps create and establish new habits for journaling, gratitude, self-awareness and more. For four weeks, athletes learn to define their mindset, create better systems for goal setting, learn healthy communication skills and how to take responsibility for their athletic training and performance.
This journal is a tool for athletes, but it’s also an important resource for coaches, athletic trainers, sports med, physical therapist and parents who work closely with athletes.
30 Day Mental Challenge
Regular price $12.95 Save $-12.95Author Mitch Horowitz (“solid gold”—David Lynch) asks you to give one thing: your mental focus for just 30 days.
In The 30-Day Mental Challenge, Mitch guides you through one simple exercise—so simple, in fact, that you may not believe it can change anything. But, like thousands who have tried, you will be surprised.
You are to direct your thoughts for 30 days toward what is productive, forwarding, and promising—and to believe that every reasonable ambition is within your reach. That’s it. Simple as it sounds, however, this exercise places you in front of tremendous and unforeseen challenges. Hence, Mitch guides you—with realism, bluntness, and authentic ideals—through each day to help you stay on track, contend with pitfalls (which are many), and witness concrete results.
Effort is all it takes. Will you try? Many have said yes only to drop off. Many others have stayed on. Their testimonies appear in the book, including:
“I always dismissed the ‘positive thought’ movement as something somehow beneath me, preferring complicated and arduous meditation and nuanced esoteric rituals for my own self-improvement journey…These meditations have been a lifesaver during a very challenging time. No lie.”
“This has been transformative beyond expectation.”
“The 30-day challenge has helped me overcome so many obstacles and I feel so grateful. Magick is real and man, it is such a beautiful, positive thing!”
Your time is now. Join The 30-Day Mental Challenge.

Use this journal to create new mindset habits and learn performance tools such as visualization, journaling, value setting, creating a support system and more. This journal isn’t just a tool for athletes, it’s also an important resource for coaches, athletic trainers, sports med, physical therapist and parents who work closely with athletes during the injury cycle.

30 Days to a More Powerful Business Vocabulary
Regular price $19.95 Save $-19.95The author of the best-selling 30 Days to a More Powerful Vocabulary, Dan Strutzel, now puts his focus on communicating successfully in the business world!
Business is just like any sector or topic, with its own language, customs, codes, and terminologies. Different aspects of business can have their own distinctive terminology, which can also overlap. In 30 Days to a More Powerful Business Vocabulary, Dan presents over 500 words and short expressions from a variety of different business categories. Each section introduces approximately 25 words. Each of the words are initially presented in a story or conversation, so you can experience the correct context in which the words are used. Dan then discusses each word or phrase and its definition. Finally, he reinforces the word and its meaning with another example in a sentence. And of course, Dan has you make all of the words a part of your permanent vocabulary by using his “30-day learning program” based on well-known super-learning principles.
There are four sections on banking and finance, four on marketing, and four on negotiation. Other sections focus on sales, entrepreneurship, human resources, e-business, leadership, and an all-new section on remote learning!
The book’s intention is to be entertaining, informative, and inspiring. As the world changes, language changes with it—and both are changing very fast. With 30 Days to a More Powerful Business Vocabulary, you’ll keep pace with those changes and watch your career benefit as a result!
30 Days to a More Powerful Vocabulary
Regular price $19.95 Save $-19.95Words. They're the foundation of nearly everything of value in our world. They have the power to create and the power to destroy. The power to inspire and to terrify. The power to enlighten and also to obscure. And, more specifically for you, they have the power to attract wealth and success and guarantee your brighter future.
This is not hyperbole - it is based on rock-solid research. Studies show that those people with large vocabularies are smarter, wealthier, and happier than the average person - and substantially so. And here's the best news of all: a large vocabulary is not tied to your social status, your genes, or even your education level. It is a skill that can be learned - and it takes only 30 days.
In this cutting-edge program, 30 Days to a More Powerful Vocabulary, personal development expert and English enthusiast Dan Strutzel will instruct, enlighten, and inspire you with a concentrated 30-day program that will teach you over 500 words. But, more than teaching you these words, the uniquely designed program will ensure that these words become a habit-knit part of your life - and with minimal effort on your part. Best of all, research shows that learning new words has an exponential effect on the size of your vocabulary - since learning one word naturally produces an association between two to three more words.
In short, after reading and applying the system in this 30-day program, you will not only have a bigger vocabulary - you will have a brighter future! Here's just a sampling of what you'll learn:
- The 10 myths about building a dynamic vocabulary
- The secret behind the exponential effect of vocabulary building
- A 30-day program designed to maximize learning and comprehension of over 500 words
- The words you need to know about money and financial issues
- The words you need to know about persuading others
- The words you need to know about marriage, parenting, and other relationships
- The words you need to know about science
- The words you need to know to be a great conversationalist
- Why building a large, dynamic vocabulary is even more valuable in the digital age
- And much more!
30 Days to a More Powerful Vocabulary Second Edition
Regular price $19.95 Save $-19.95And since the original book was written, as technology has advanced further---from the smartphone to Artificial Intelligence, some people have speculated that the need for a vast vocabulary will reduce in importance. But, according to Dan Strutzel, nothing could be further from the truth. He argues in the new edition that, due to technology's ability to "flatten" the distinction between individuals, the art of personal communication via a rich vocabulary will be one of the ways to truly distinguish yourself from the masses.
The new edition contains the original, most impactful 500 words which cover many topics from persuading others, relationships, financial issues, science and technology, and more words that ensure you will be a great conversationalist and rise fast in your chosen profession. And, best of all, you'll be provided with an additional 200 words which, according to research, have become particularly important in the last 8 years, particularly since the worldwide pandemic. Those words will cover topics like the new world of virtual work, health topics, Artificial Intelligence, and much more!
Research shows that learning new words has an exponential effect on the size of your vocabulary---since learning one word, naturally produces an association between two to three more words. In short, after listening to and applying the system in this 30-day program, you will not only have a bigger vocabulary—you will have a brighter future!

Regular price $16.95 Save $-16.95Christ-centered support for healing from loss.
Based on Walking the Mourners Path, an eight-week support program designed to accompany people in their grief, 30 Days toward Healing Your Grief differs from other support resources by using a proven methodology that does not leave people in their pain but gently leads them forward from “that my loved one died” to “how my loved one lived” and finally to “how I must live to honor his or her memory.”
30 Days offers, for individuals and small groups, a personal, print version of the successful program on which it’s based. Published in workbook form (thirty daily reflections/studies), this book addresses many of the issues that develop with those struggling with grief. Questions—as well as inspirational stories from the author’s nearly fifteen years of group work—help readers understand that they are not alone in their pain. This book will assist mourners as they walk through pain, remember their loved one, honor the relationship, honestly address the complications of grief, and find the courage to turn their pain into joyful living once again. Those who thought God had abandoned them will once again feel his presence through a renewed spiritual relationship with our Lord.

The most effective means of improving Muslim women's lives is connecting them to their deeply held beliefs that affirm human dignity and gender equality at the core of the Islamic faith. But Muslim women lack this information that enlightens and vouches for their sacred rights, and they have no accessible tools that encourage faith-based activism consistent with the Islamic faith. To protect them from being misrepresented by or outside their communities, there is a need to provide pre-packaged, easy-to-understand literacy tools to women so they can lead lives of choice, dignity, and opportunity. 30 Rights of Muslim Women aims to fill this gap.

¿Y?
Espera, no seas impaciente.
Sigo.
El caso es que todos los vecinos le respondieron dando las gracias.
La loca estaba muy feliz.
Las locas son así, les hacen felices cosas raras. No sé.

The secret lies in what you write and how you write it.

EXACTLY 300 WORDS.
Some time ago, I met a girl who was completely nuts.
She was charming, but totally bonkers.
So?
Wait—if you understand the story, this book will be one of the best
investments you’ll ever make. If not, leave it where it was
or set it on fire. Personally, I don’t care.
Here goes:
Turns out this girl worked for a cosmetics brand.
And one day she decided to prepare samples of the best products,
beautifully packaged with a personalized note she left
at the door of each neighbor in her building.
So people opened their doors and found a box of creams,
makeup, and all that stuff, plus the personalized note from the crazy girl.
So?
Hold on, don’t be impatient.
I’m getting there.
The thing is, all the neighbors replied with thank-you notes.
The crazy girl was thrilled.
That’s how crazy girls are—strange things make them happy. I don’t know.
But by the end of the day, when everything seemed to have gone well and
everyone was happy to have a generous, eccentric neighbor,
one person returned the box with a note that said: “Thanks for the gift, but
I think you’re trying to sell me something, and I hate advertising.”
Oof.
What a letdown.
The crazy girl wrote to me and said:
“Isra, one of my neighbors rejected the gift. Total bummer.”
I get it—you’re probably thinking, “What nonsense worries this crazy girl,”
and you’re right. But when she told me, this came to mind:
Everyone hates advertising—until they want to sell something.
Isra Bravo.
So yeah. Some people say they hate advertising. Those people aren’t very smart.
Now, if you understood this story, this book is for you.

303 Kid-Approved Exercises and Active Games
Regular price $26.95 Save $-26.95303 Kid-Approved Exercises and Active Games helps 6-8 year old kids get off their chairs with fun and age-appropriate exercises. Exercise for children must be fun. These exercises have been used for personal training sessions, kids fitness classes, kids fitness camps, birthday parties and in schools; they have all been Kid-Approved!”.
Kimberley Wechsler, a specialist in Kid’s Fitness, took into account the fundamental attributes of being a child while developing these exercises. Children have specific physiologic differences that make them unique. They grow, mature, and develop skills at different ages, so what may be skill appropriate for one child could be harmful for another child. These exercises reflect the emotional, social, physical level of this age group.
At this age, children feel confident with the basic skill of fitness and are now ready to be challenged to more complex moves. They are now at the skill level in which physical challenges like balance, muscle building, hand-eye, hand-foot coordination, increasing challenges for their fine and gross motor skills, and functional training can be more added. They are growing in their intellectual and emotional processes as well, which now allows this age group to follow and understand simple rules of a sport. They are also introduced to the concept of friendly competition and sports fitness.
Children also enjoy using their imagination and fantasy, so exercises require the use of their imagination. There are games and fitness challenges that require kids to take an active role in learning new skills, and there are introductions to new sports. Kids still enjoy outside participation so families, friends, educators and counselors can participate in all of the 303 activities.
Kids at this age can’t seem to sit still--their minds are always thinking and their bodies are always moving. Children have short attention spans, so most of the activities can be played within a 15 minute period of time and many choices are offered throughout the book. 303 Kid-Approved Exercises and Active Games supports children’s energy and directs it in a positive way; the activities take advantage of a child's natural tendency to be active with unstructured or free play.
303 Kid-Approved Exercises and Active Games develops intellectual, emotional, and social skills for children, all the while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

303 Kid-Approved Exercises and Active Games provides parents, teachers and counselors with activities especially designed for children ages 6 to 8 as well as information on how best to teach them. Wechsler explains the importance of recognizing that each child develops at his or her own pace and how to use what the group has in common to get the most out of each session. A section at the beginning of the book talks about planning ahead, putting safety first and adapting to weather and the environment.
Teachers and parents may find they're having just as much fun as the kids.

The preschool years are filled with milestones and major physical changes; young children will develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. During this time, lifestyle behaviors begin to emerge that can define a pattern of behaviors all the way through adulthood. It is vital to a child’s health to instill healthy lifestyle habits, behaviors, and disciplines during these young years. Through creative physical activities and easy-to-follow guidelines, this book will teach families how to navigate their dynamic and hectic lifestyles into a healthy and active lifestyle. Being physically active is an invaluable gift for a child, a gift that keeps on giving even into adulthood.
What motivates a five year old will be different than what motivates a twelve year old. It’s not a “one size fits all” when it comes to fitness. Children have specific physiologic differences that make them unique; they grow, mature and develop skills at different ages, so what may be skill appropriate for one child could be harmful for another child, fitness programs, exercises and activities must be designed specific to each developmental stage. Think of fitness in terms of building a pyramid. In order to have a strong foundation, preschoolers must learn the basic building blocks of fitness. Each year, as kids grow older, they are building on the foundations that were created in the previous years and moving on to more complex movements and skills. Moving from hitting a stationary ball to one that is thrown, bouncing a ball with two hands to bouncing it with one, and progressing from a bike with training wheels to one without, are all milestones that are accomplished during childhood. Kids will play longer and harder than those at the earlier stage of development. They can actually follow multi-task directions (e.g., run to the cone, jump up and down three times, then run back to me) and enjoy playing in a group more.
For quick access and easy to follow directions, the activities are organized into six sections of different games and exercises that can easily fit into a child's allotted playtime. Throughout these sections, children can become more aware of their bodily functions, develop sportsmanship and team-working skills, increase energy expenditure, help strengthen muscles and bones, and improve cardiovascular endurance. Preschoolers can decrease the risk of serious illnesses later in life while increasing their creative development. Play and exercise helps children to grow and learn about how the world works. 303 Preschooler-Approved Exercises and Active Games is a physically active way to bring fun and laughter into a child’s life.

Children of this age group are now at the skill level in which physical challenges like mind, body, meditation, balance, muscle strengthening, and sport performance building exercises become very important. Sports skills and drills can now be developed, and competition is highlighted and welcomed within this age group. Kids at this age like to show off their talents so it is important for teachers and parents to observe and provide positive feedback on all of their accomplishments. At this age, tweens want to belong to a sport, group, or identify with a sport celebrity to begin to define who they are and what their likes are; friends also tend to become more of an influence than parents at this age. Bad behavior patterns and peer pressure have now developed--making it more difficult to change current patterns--but it can be done. 303 Tween-Approved Exercises and Active Games can help tweens build confidence in high-pressure situations and build their social skills through playing team sports.
Kids within this age group are now experienced with the basic fundamentals of fitness and prefer games, sports, and exercises that are more challenging and competitive. They are physically, intellectually, emotionally becoming young adults. They can think abstractly, make decisions, understand rules and challenge rules; they are more mature then kids 6-8 years old, and their games and physical challenges must reflect these characteristics. They have formed a sense of self-identity and they are more independent, yet their friends are very important to them. Many of the exercises are written to include their friends--they can challenge their friends or work as a team with their friends.
Tweens have a preferred Fitness Personality--a style of fitness that suits their likes. Therefore, they can choose their style of exercises from 303 physical challenges. They can choose to do them independently, with a friend, or with a group of friends. They can choose from many styles of fitness in 303 Tween-Approved Exercises and Active Games: mind/body, military style fitness, sports performance, functional resistance, strength training, plyometric style, outdoor challenges, circuit/interval/obstacle course training. 303 Tween-Approved Exercises and Active Games allows tweens to choose the type of exercise. By giving each challenge/game a point value, tweens can freely choose their exercises and will receive a complete workout each and every time. Teachers and parents can join in on the fun too!

30: Thirty Years of Journalism and Democracy in Canada
Regular price $39.95 Save $-39.95Journalism matters – and this book proves it.
This insightful, eloquent and entertaining anthology paints a compelling portrait of Canada and Canadian journalism in a rapidly changing world. It brings together, in one volume, thirty years of the prestigious James M. Minifie Lecture at the University of Regina’s School of Journalism. Touching on a wide range of topics from war to climate change to our ongoing constitutional crisis, these lectures, delivered by some of Canada’s leading journalists, stand as a tribute to press freedom and journalistic imagination in Canada.
This volume should be required reading not just for journalists, but for anyone concerned about the state of the democratic process, a process that journalism informs and animates. With media industries in crisis and the democratic craft of journalism in peril, this collection serves as a chronicle of the re-invention of Canada, and of Canadian journalism, over the last three decades. The Minifie Lectures, 1981-2010 is an intriguing glimpse into the inner life of the press corps; as such, it will be an essential guide for journalists and media reform movements alike in the years ahead.

In his new book, Dr. Michael Fling takes you on a journey that blends lessons of creativity, energy and passion that will change how you view your world and will add relevance to personal and professional fulfillment. He relates value driven "tipping points" at the end of each chapter, or lap, that convey the importance of having clarity, drive and an emotional spirit in everyday tasks. You will learn how to create more productive, predictable and sustainable patterns in your business and in your life and how to develop a healthier and more consistent culture of prosperity. 32 Laps reveals the secret to closing the gap between "knowing" and "doing." 33 Revolutions
Regular price $14.00 Save $-14.00A young man’s political awakening takes shape in the aftermath of Castro’s Revolution in this “prayer of a novel” by the grandson of Che Guevara (Cleaver Magazine).
At the dawn of Communist Cuba, our unnamed hero, a young black Cuban man, loses his father to death and his mother to emigration. Now he spends much of his time with his Russian neighbor, discovering the pleasures of reading. The books he reads gradually open his eyes to the incongruity between party slogans and the oppressive reality that surrounds him: the office routine; the daily complaints of his colleagues; his own obsessive thoughts which circulate around his mind like a broken record.
Every day he photographs the spontaneous eruptions of dissent on the streets and witnesses the sad spectacle of young people crowding onto makeshift rafts to escape the island. His frustration grows until a day when he declares his unwillingness to become an informer. And this is when his real troubles begin.
“Not since Reinaldo Arenas has a Cuban literary voice arrived on American shores with such beaten madness, and sense of personal desperation.”—Cleaver Magazine
33 Strength and Fitness Workouts for Horses
Regular price $26.95 Save $-26.95The go-to reference for riders and trainers aiming to improve equine conditioning in ways that are strategic, engaging, and fair to the horse.
For just about everything we do with horses—from trail riding to top level competition—a healthy state of fitness is key to both performance and longevity. Every horse will go better for longer if his mind and body are well prepared for the “ask.”
When it comes to improving fitness, whether for humans or animals, the success of an exercise relies on dosage. How an exercise is applied, the duration and frequency of execution, and the weekly schedule within which it is incorporated determine its impact on fitness.
Equine training and conditioning expert Jec Aristotle Ballou has now provided a book that takes the guesswork out of fitness gains. It clarifies how long and frequently to do a particular exercise and provides guidance in how to combine it with others for best results. The result is maximized health and athleticism in the horse.
The 33 workouts in these pages help accomplish the performance goals that many riders strive for but fall short of reaching—stronger, more agile, and more balanced horses. They do this by circumventing the tension, both physical and mental, that often spoils conditioning attempts made within a discipline-specific or skill-based training session. By providing the right amount of stimulus while avoiding boredom, fatigue, and habituated neuromuscular patterns, Ballou’s workouts lead to positive physiological gains. Her plans include:
- Ways to measure a horse’s current fitness.
- Guidelines for active and passive rest.
- Basics for stretching, warming up, and improving mobility.
- Unique groundwork that keeps both you and your horse engaged.
- Hill hikes and terrain tests with multiple benefits.
- Suggested schedules for basic fitness goals, as well as special considerations for young horses and trail riders.
With easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions and clear illustration, this book is a fundamental piece of any conscientious rider’s training plan and a key component to keeping horses performing happily for more years of their lives.

“The plan was that no matter what I did, how busy I was, what other commitments I had, I would write a play a day, every single day for a year. It would be about being present and being committed to the artistic process every single day, regardless of the ‘weather.’ It became a daily meditation, a daily prayer celebrating the rich and strange process of a writing life.”—Suzan-Lori Parks
On November 13, 2002, the incomparable Suzan-Lori Parks got an idea to write a play every day for a year. She began that very day, finishing one year later. The result is an extraordinary testament to artistic commitment. This collection of 365 impeccably crafted pieces, each with its own distinctive characters and dramatic power, is a complete work by an artist responding to her world, each and every day. Parks is one of the American theater’s most wily and innovative writers, and her “stark but poetic language and fiercely idiosyncratic images transform her work into something haunting and marvelous” (TIME).

We can all choose to be happy. In 365 Health & Happiness Boosters, a book of daily reflections, M.J. Ryan lays a path for the pursuit of happiness by employing a wide variety of spiritual, emotional and practical suggestions.
Discover 365 ways to experience happiness. Some of the tasks are lighthearted, others quite serious. They all have a positive effect and contribute to inner peace.
Learn to:
- Cultivate contentment and change your outlook on the art of happiness
- Lift your spirit in the moment and build inner peace
- Address eating habits and develop better sleeping patterns
- Improve interactions with others through meditating on happy thoughts and doing random acts of kindness
