Coming home to Ivy Falls was the best decision Piper Townsend ever made. People have welcomed her back with open arms even after a major mistake almost cost her brother, Beck everything. Piper still has a lot to prove, though. That’s why she’s juggling two jobs, all while directing the children’s musical at the local theater. She can’t screw up again if she’s too busy, right?

When Crawford “Ford” Foster agrees to fill in for a vacationing Ivy Falls doctor, it’s only to kill time until he can get back to the life he loves in Africa. But the job, and the people, are not what he expects, and he’s instantly drawn into the quirky little town. He knows he can’t get distracted from what he wants, but when he has a “sticky” encounter with Piper at the local bookstore, he starts to rethink all his plans.

With the sudden success of his home renovation show, Manny is shocked to discover just how much the internet knows about him. While he navigates his new and strange life, his feelings only grow for Tessa as he helps build a new coffee bar for the bookstore.
