The 1990s Fashion Book
Regular price $80.00 Save $-80.00"The 1990s Fashion Book" is a tribute to the unique fashion of that time. Flashy, colourful, casual and sexy, these were the attributes that applied back then. Top models, hip-hoppers or pop groups like Take That and the Spice Girls exemplified a fashion style that triggered a boom all over the world.
The 90s: the birth of the modern world
It is fair to say that, in retrospect, hardly any other decade has had such a formative effect on modern times as the 1990s. It is considered a decade of revolution, in which almost everything that had existed before changed at breakneck speed. This is when ground-breaking technologies such as the internet or nationwide mobile telephony came into being, without which our lives today would be unimaginable.
A look back at vintage trends and icons
Modern pop culture and current fashion design originate to a large extent from the cradle of the 90s. Sub-trends of the time such as grunge, hip-hop, minimalism, casual chic and deconstructivism are, in retrospect, what continues to have an impact today.
The Coffee Table Book "The 1990s Fashion Book" picks up all these vintage trends and brings them together in one complete work. A wonderful mix of it-pieces, key looks, hairstyles and make-up in the typical 90s look.
Agata and Pierre Toromanoff and their 90s masterpiece
The two authors of this sparkling masterpiece are art historian Agata Toromanof and her husband Pierre Toromanoff. With around 150 exciting photographs, in this illustrated book they awaken nostalgia in people of Generation-X and provide a source of inspiration for everyone else.
Nostalgia and inspiration
Every fashion enthusiast will enjoy the photography book "The 1990s Fashion Book" and, especially against the background of the current comeback of the 90s and the omnipresent presence of this era, will experience a guaranteed "aha" moment when looking at the pictures.

Amaze
Regular price $95.00 Save $-95.00- A pioneering book of nature photography from environmental campaigner and photographer, Cristina Mittermeier
- Captures some of the most endangered animals, remote communities, and extreme corners on earth
- An astonishing collection of nature photography and an inspiration for sustainable living with others and our environment
From ocean shores to some of the most remote indigenous communities in the world, photographer Cristina Mittermeier explores humanity’s relationship with the planet and possibilities for a mindful, sustainable future.
Cristina Mittermeier knows a thing or two about water. Trained as a marine biologist and a photographer, the Mexico City-born Cristina Mittermeier combines her work behind the lens with her passion for environmentalism, taking pictures around the world to explore our relationship to the earth and ocean and to draw attention to the beauty and the plight of our planet.
In "Amaze", Cristina Mittermeier elicits our wonder and awe at the natural world and the labyrinth or “maze” of navigating a sustainable existence. The book combines two series: “Enoughness” and “The Water’s Edge.”
The first draws out Cristina Mittermeier’s philosophy for a mindful and sustainable way of being in the world. Bringing together photographs from some of the most isolated corners of the earth, the book shows wild animals, remote landscapes, and indigenous peoples—challenging the cult of material wealth and proposing alternatives for a meaningful and sustainable connection to our environment, each other, and ourselves.
In “The Water’s Edge,” Cristina Mittermeier presents photographs from around the globe that capture the frontier between land and ocean and the special meaning it has for human life. Whether it is fishermen bringing in their daily haul, women washing laundry in the shallows, or surfers frolicking in the spray, the water’s edge is revealed as an integral and universal space in which ephemeral moments reveal not only our common dependency on the planet, but also our common humanity.
As much an inspiration for sustainable living as a staggering collection of nature photography, "Amaze" is a must-have book for all those who care about our planet and those we share it with.

Luxury

The well-known photographer, journalist, brand and communications consultant Michael Köckritz has taken a detailed look at this fascinating world of the rich, celebrities and stars in his latest coffee table book. In an impressive visual language, backed by informative texts, he shows the most important luxury brands of our modern times. Watches, cars, bags, buildings, holiday resorts and jewellery, the author touches on all luxury-related subject areas and unerringly pinpoints the respective key items.
Köckritz approaches the phenomenon of luxury from an artistic-scientific perspective and sheds light on profound questions such as "What is luxury?", "Why do we strive for luxury?" or "How does luxury affect the reality of our lives?"In doing so, the author does not want to show off. As an expert, the philosophical, psychological and sociological aspects of the phenomenon of luxury are important to him. And in an almost admirable way, he succeeds in doing justice to this scientific claim and at the same time, with his magnificent photos, draws the reader into the spell of this world geared towards beauty and perfection.
"Luxury" is bursting with outstanding images and high-quality texts. The coffee table book embodies its own theme to perfection and thus becomes an art project that is even accompanied by an art exhibition and a film/moving image production.
This coffee table book is the perfect gift for anyone fascinated by the emotions and myths surrounding luxury.
Text in English and German.

The Aston Martin Book
Regular price $125.00 Save $-125.00- previously unpublished studio recordings and updated texts on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the tradition-rich automobile manufacturer.
- Ties in with the successful original edition with two issues and almost 10,000 copies sold, but also with the last René Staud titles: The Jaguar Book (published in autumn 2021 and already reprinted in February 2022) and Mercedes-Benz. The 300 SL Book (published in April 2022)
- The special design with a cover printed on hot foil and the large format also make the book a highlight on the outside.
- Aston Martin is not only one of the best-known British luxury brands, but with the DB5 and its successors as a James Bond vehicle, it is also firmly anchored in pop culture.
110 years of racing and legends
Aston Martin's rapid success story began almost exactly 110 years ago with its foundation by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. The brand reached its peak in 1947 under David Brown, whose initials can be found in the legendary models for good reason. Closely linked to racing, the company still pursues the goal of creating road-going racing cars. Aston Martin's history on the racetrack is at least as exciting as the company's history. It ranges from the legendary victory at the Aston Hill Climb in 1914 to the success at Le Mans in 1959 to the entry into Formula 1 from 2021, associated with names such as Stirling Moss or Sebastian Vettel.
But Aston Martin is not only in the fast lane when it comes to technical high performance; thanks to elegant design and luxurious comfort, the automobiles literally sparkle with British understatement. No wonder, then, that no less a person than James Bond has been relying on Aston Martin for his company car since 1964 in Goldfinger.
René Staud: Master of automobile photography and icon maker
René Staud, who has photographed models of all relevant (luxury) brands, has a similar charisma in the field of automotive photography. Equipped with his own lighting system, he literally puts his automotive models in the right light and is a master of staging. Like Aston Martin, René Staud is also responsible for some real classics. Among others, teNeues published the bestsellers The Porsche 911 Book, The Jaguar Book - and of course the original edition of The Aston Martin Book.
The Aston Martin cosmos in a new perspective
How well the two harmonise is shown by this high-quality illustrated book, which truly invites you to dream and indulge. Inspiring impressions and concise texts make it possible to immerse oneself in the exciting Aston Martin cosmos and discover many unknown stories. In his foreword, the author and automotive (design) expert Paolo Tumminelli puts it in a nutshell: "No car manufacturer has gone down more often. No other has been resurrected every time. Is that why the logo bears the wings of the phoenix?"
The Aston Martin Book in a perfected new edition
Freshly refuelled with expanded text and stunning new photographs of both old and current models, The Aston Martin Book - Revised Edition is now a fully revised and perfected version of its predecessor.
